An evening of boundary-pushing music in Glasgow brings together Noisy Women, the Sonic Bothy Ensemble, and musicians from the Sonic Bothy Learning Space.
The Learning Space musicians open with original works shaped by curiosity and fearless experimentation. The Sonic Bothy Ensemble follows, presenting a distinctive sonic world through striking, bespoke glass instruments created especially for them, bringing new life to a selection of exciting repertoire. Noisy Women close with powerful, unapologetic energy — an improvising collective creating space for women and non-binary artists audaciously stretching boundaries and championing diversity.

The idea of Small Rooms is, as it says on the can. A sense of claustrophobia, that of being crammed into a small space. Each one overlaps into the other's territory. Social space. Small Rooms try not to fall into any neat musical categories. They are musical Nomads in that sense.
