LONDON IMPROVISERS ORCHESTRA AT STOKE NEWINGTON CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FESTIVAL

Bettina will be one of the musicians to do a conduction with the amazing London Improvisers Orchestra at Hackney Music Live STOKE NEWINGTON CONTEMPORARY MUSIC FESTIVAL.

Tickets: £10 (under 26s £5) https://www.tickettailor.com/events/hackneymusiclive/2074887

“For audiences, a London Improvisers Orchestra concert offers something increasingly rare: orchestral scale with genuine unpredictability. Even at its most explosive, the music is built moment by moment through deep listening, collective risk-taking, and a shared commitment to invention in real time.”

“Conduction: Coined by Lawrence "Butch" Morris, this method uses a specific vocabulary of gestures to summon sounds, instruct players to repeat phrases, or alter dynamics on the spot.”

WhispeRINGS TOUR UK - THE NOISY WOMEN PRESENT

Noisy Women Present (Maggie Nicols, Faradena Afifi, Gwendolyn Kassenaar, Nicky Smith, Charlotte Keeffe, Bettina Schroeder, Steve Beresford, Julian Woods, Jo Morrison, Ningrui Liu (Akira), Constance Cooper, Bernd Ihno Eilts, James A Smith).

The Noisy Women are an award winning international mixed arts collective that use creativity to explore and connect through spontaneous and improvised art, music, poetry, costume and dance.

Small Rooms (Angela Vowles: voice, processing - Rob Harrison: guitar, FX)

The idea of Small Rooms is, as it says on the can. A sense of claustrophobia, that of being crammed into a small space. Each one overlaps into the other's territory. Social space. Small Rooms try not to fall into any neat musical categories. They are musical Nomads in that sense.
